Hello folks and welcome to our final issue for 2021. As we head into the holiday season, we hope that you might take the time to sit back and read through this new bumper issue of the magazine,( don’t forget to check out our new Awesome Destinations #1 Iceland magazine supplement also). This issue has a German theme as we take a look back at the Abenteuer & Allrad expo which finally took place in October, and at which the TURAS team exhibited this year. We learn about Germany’s premier Land Rover Club, we find out what is involved in shipping your overland vehicle across the world with Overlander Shipping in Hamburg. If you are on the road for couple of years, and you plan to return to Germany, it is important that your kids can keep up with the German curriculum or can maintain their study of the German Language, and the unique distance learning school Schul Expert -Deutsche Fernschule provides these services to children of overlanding families. The team at Bavarian company Offroad Monkeys shares their experience at the autumn Abenteur & Allrad expo with us, and we also take a look back at our own trip to the expo, a 3000KM road trip on our Nokian Tyres Rockproof tyres. Another theme in this issue is the revolution in eco-tech vehicles and the changes post COP26 that are coming to the motoring industries. We examine what some of these changes mean for vehicle manufacturers and for drivers in the future. We take a look at some of the most exciting electrical and eco-tech vehicles currently in production and planned and lots lots more. We would like to wish all of our readers, brand partners and associates a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous 2022. Take care everyone, have a great holiday.
The TURAS team.
